2023 Disability Employment Awareness Luncheon (DEAL)

Did you know that people with disabilities are the largest minority in the United States? 1 in 3 Tennesseans have a disability but only 18% of individuals with disabilities in Tennessee are competitively employed. 

The goal of Disability Rights Tennessee’s annual Disability Employment Awareness Luncheon (DEAL) is to increase awareness about and commitment to Employment First as a sustainable business policy and provide additional funding for the agency’s advocacy and policy initiatives. DEAL has been an integral event for Disability Rights Tennessee (DRT) for the last eight years. This year, we are thrilled to bring people from the nonprofit, government, and business sectors together in-person again to network and learn how to build inclusive workforces.
